The title of the Best of the Year has been created in order to let students recognise people, activities, and organisations that have been standing out in their own field over the year. Active students and student organisations are encouraged through public recognition and action valuation, as well as serving them as excellent examples to take on even more activities and carry them out.
The title of the Best of the Year shall be accredited for the actions of the previous calendar year. All deeds and initiatives that ended with the given calendar year shall be taken into consideration. In the case of recurrent projects, the project from the specified year shall be taken into account.
The election process for electing the Bests of the Year consists of two stages: all TTÜ students have the right of presenting candidates for both categories; the committee will elect the winners of the two categories.
It is possible to present candidates before 01.02 2018.
The winners are announced on 22.02 at the public ceremony for Estonian Independence Day.
