TTÜ students' new ice cream
The students of Tallinn University of Technology, Ivo Rosenberg and Gert Lõhmus, have launched a new Estonian ice cream brand.
The ice creams called De Lune have been made only from natural raw materials of plant origin. The new domestic ice cream brand was created as a result of a graduation thesis in the field of food technology. At present the assortment and production volumes are limited, but the students have big plans.
Ivo Rosenberg and Gert Lõhmus invited Rector Jaak Aaviksoo and Vice-Rector for Research Renno Veinthal to the kitchen to taste the ice cream and assess the flavours.
